I am happily married for the second time to the love of my life. I am a Christian and have 3 young adult children who live on their own now. I love to save money, use coupons, enter sweepstakes, write, and love my life as an entrepreneur through my writing and selling on eBay. I also love to travel, especially cruising. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Child Welfare. I worked with abused and neglected children and their families for 8 years before having my first child and deciding to stay home with him and be a full-time mom. The work I did with children and families convinced me that this was the best decision for me and my family. I was a stay at home mom for a long time and loved every minute of it. After my divorce, I had to go to work full time, which was hard because I had loved being home for my kids. I worked in a high school, (their high school) for 7 years so I have always been available to them while they were students at school. After they all graduated, I left that job and was a substitute teacher for 2 years through Kelly Educational services so I could travel with my husband when he travels for work. We recently moved from CT to GA and now I work from home doing freelance writing and also selling on eBay. Some days I have to pinch myself because I can't believe how fortunate I am to be married to my second husband. He is the most loving, caring, generous, intelligent man I have ever met. We knew each other a long time ago and then didn't see each other for 28 years. So, I feel very blessed to have this time with him now.
Recently I started a blog about saving money and working from home. You can find it here:
Subjects I like to write about most:
* Work at home profiles
* Saving money with coupons and bargain shopping
*selling on eBay
* Life experience
I have been on Hub Pages for 9 years now. I also write for Textbroker, as well as my blog and am loving every minute of the writing. I am wondering why I waited so long to start? But also am very glad that I did!
I hope you enjoy my hubs (articles) and feel free to follow me.
