Kathleen Holyoak

Kathleen Holyoak, award-winning composer/arranger, organist and pianist, and author resides in Arizona with her husband, Garth W. Holyoak. They have 4 married daughters, 10 granddaugters, 4 grandsons, and three granddogs!!

Kathleen has published numerous songbooks and CD's for children and adults, instrumental arrangements, dozens of songs for choir and a children's storybook, "Flowers in Heaven." Her music has been performed around the globe, including the White House for Pres. and Mrs. Bush and the private residence of Vice-Pres. and Mrs. Cheney for Christmas gatherings.

Kathleen gives firesides, teacher-training workshops, and has traveled abroad to perform & speak. In 2010, she wrote orchestrations for the Kiev, Ukraine, "Cultural Celebration" in conjunction to the LDS Temple dedication and traveled to Kiev, Ukraine, to play the bandura, the national instrument, in the orchestra.She served as organist & choir director at BYU's Jerusalem Center in 2016 for 19 months. In 2019, she and her husband lived in Sweden and there she had opportunities to share her music, present firesides, perform and have some of her music translated into Svenska.

She and her husband have participated in numerous humanitarian efforts to Guatemala, Ukraine, Kenya, and Uganda where she performed as a pianist, gave firesides, and taught music workshops.

Her hobbies include photography and writing life histories.
