I wasn't born in TX but, as the sign says, "I got here as quickly as I could," and I have as much pride for this great state as any native.
I did leave for a few short years to attend Brigham Young University in UT. I met my husband up there and quickly moved him back to warm and sunny TX.
I taught middle and high school for 7 years. The best thing about teaching is obviously the students, and I learned alot about how the teenage brain works.
I am now a stay at home mom of 4 crazy kids. I am ever busy, and never alone, but I love it. The hardest part of being a mom is that as soon as you think you have it figured out, your children change and you realize you have no clue what you are doing. This is truely a "learn on the job" type of occupation, and my children love to keep me on my toes.
My other hobbies include reading(mostly fiction), working out(I hit the gym 6 days a week), and hanging out with my friends.
Through these experiences and hobbies I have a lot that I am excited to write about. I hope you will enjoy reading my hubs.
