Popular Two-Syllable Baby Girl Names

Trying to decide on a two-syllable name for your baby girl? Here are loads of ideas to choose from.
Claudia Mitchell
One of the harder decisions you'll have to make when you are having a baby is what to name her. When we were expecting, my husband and I poured over baby name books for hours, making list after list of names we liked. It seemed like it took months to finally decide on one.
We thought of everything, from how the name sounded with our last name, to whether or not we had ever known someone we didn't care for with that name. I'm guessing that anyone who has ever had a baby would say the same thing.
One of the things we thought about was the sound of the name. Was it easy to say? Was it easy to spell? The nice thing about two-syllable names is that they are easy to say. They kind of flow off the tongue and have a bouncy feel to them.
Obviously, other people like these types names as well because in 2017, 46% of the top 100 most popular girls' names had two syllables.
So while you are getting the nursery ready for that happy day, here are some ideas for your little girl.
Names have power.
