Yes, it's a home and family-friendly Hub. All good and necessary for encouraging morals and virtuous acts. Perhaps great for countries which seem loose in morals today, wherever they are. I grew up with a lot of these ideas from school as I went to a methodist school. Much of what you say is needed today.

The spiritual life is deeper, higher, not bound by rules, tricky, stimulates thinking while also being controversial at times. It is a very different beast and full of sacrifices. Yet its roots and stems need morality and virtues, in order to grow well. Wholesome Hub.

Thanks, Manatita. There is always a chance that someone will prove that these principles did not work for them; but we usually cannot explain exceptions to the rules. As you suggested, we need to input morality at the roots of our lives and our communities. Can't think of anything better.

An excellent mixture of quotes from both the past and the present.

I was pleased to see quotes from celebrities as so often the media reports on the negative (non-family) aspects of their lives.

I love it when a public figure steps forward to promote a strong family front, I think we need more of this pride and dedication to the family unit.
