Nightmares suck no matter how old you get, but we'll admit that adults handle it better than children do. As a kid, waking up from a nightmare often meant running to our parents' room for comfort, though at a certain age, you just stop. Unless, of course, you don't.
One 23-year-old man decided to try this out as a grown up to see how his parents would react. He shared a video of himself waking his parents up at 3 am after he had a bad dream... and honestly, we just have to laugh at the way they responded.
It's probably safe to say that his mom and dad never expected their child in his twenties to wake them up in the middle of the night, but it happened anyway. And honesty, his mom said exactly what a lot of moms probably would have said to him: "I don't care."
After Mom complained that it was 3 am, he replied, "when else would I have a bad dream?" In the background, we can hear his dad say, "that's actually good point." LOL.
They both sounded increasingly annoyed with him as he tried to discuss his dream and even attempted to convince them to check under his bed for monsters. But when he asked if he could sleep in bed with them, his mom gave in, saying, "Are you gonna be quiet?"
As tired as his parents must have been, we wouldn't be surprised if they admitted this was funny in the morning.
Besides, most adult parents would give anything for their kid to ask to sleep in their bed like they used to when they were little. But fitting a 23-year-old adult man in your bed isn't quite as easy as it was when he was a toddler!
