It's so much more than hair.

As parents, we think keeping a newborn and then a toddler alive is complicated, and then, enter our kids' older years. Suddenly, they have problems we can't solve quite as easily — and few things are as heartbreaking as seeing them come home from school in tears because of bullies who are trying to bring them down.

But then, there's this 11-year-old girl, Reign. Her mom took to TikTok to share that she'd been homeschooled for a year after dealing with bullies of her own, and as she prepared to return to school, her mom let her get a seriously amazing new hairstyle. You have to see Reign check out her hair for the first time in this video — it's easy to see why her mom said her "spark" came back.

"Bullies make you feel like you want to disappear and shrink down to nothing, and that's what happened to Reign," her mom wrote in the video.

Once Reign saw her hair — black and bright green — she was crying all the happy tears, and even said, "I feel like myself again."

Oh, we're getting all the feels imagining how her mom must have been feeling to hear her say that again!

People rushed to the comments to compliment her look (and her mom, for letting her express herself in this way).

"Dude, her whole vibe changed, that's fantastic," one person wrote, while Kim Possible herself, Christy Carlson Romano, commented to compare her to Shego, the villain from the show.

There's no doubt Reign is going to have a better year with hair like that. She looks amazing!
