Tattoo Artist ‘Tattoos’ Kids At Her Shop For Beautiful Reason

The Ohio tattoo artist is making a difference one “tattoo” at a time.

There are a lot of misconceptions about the tattoo industry. Some find it to be an exclusive club of staunch tough guys, but the truth is the tattoo community is an eclectic one. As so many more tattoo artists emerge, so do an array of styles and personalities.

The beautiful thing about empathetic artists is now a lot more people feel comfortable going for a tattoo that will help them achieve their ideal aesthetic. An artist In Ohio, @kclarkofficial believes in the power of tattoos giving people bodily autonomy, and even insists on “tattooing” kids to help them boost their confidence.

In this TikTok, she explains that she uses her stencils to give kids temporary tattoos and will draw them literally whatever they want to give them a “sleeve.” In this particular session, she hyped up a little boy who loved Spiderman.

“I think it’s important that kids see tattoos are a form of expression and shouldn’t be looked at as something negative,” she wrote in her video text overlay.

And people were absolutely smitten with her mission.

“This is amazing! You deserve a pat on the back! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to give time to kids,” wrote one thankful follower.

What better way to make a kid feel seen and heard than with a piece of ink that speaks to them? After all, as the artist points out, that’s really all tattoos are: A way to let your personality shine.
