It's so much fun to pass cultural traditions on to our kids and to see them immerse themselves in those traditions as they grow. This is something so many parents dream about for years before they have the opportunity to do it — it's such a sweet part of parenthood.
We get to witness what that is like for one set of parents who are native to Hawaii. In a video on TikTok, they shared their traditional luau dance, with their 4-year-old's reaction in the background, of course. Watch this video with the sound up, because you're going to want to hear how much this kiddo was feeling it!

They were trying to record a hula, but their son's chanting really kept them from staying in the moment! At one point, he was even singing along with the music.
"At this point we were trying not to laugh so we cracked a smile," they wrote over part of the clip where they both seemed to be struggling to keep a straight face.

"The commitment to the key change is sending me," one commenter wrote. Another added, "I thought he was gonna run in and join but the singing was even better."
This little boy seems to really appreciate what his parents do... and maybe, he'll follow in their footsteps and do the same dance, too. At that point, they should definitely show him this video — there's no doubt he'll get a kick out of it when he's older.
