Is there a program to teach my adult son life skills? My son is 35, but when he was 13 his stepmother smoked meth with him and used him as a mule. Now he has what seems like brain damage. No GED, 2xs a year he needs help with a move or solutions to his problems. I can not help with money nor shelter. He does not fit in socially, anxiety, suicide tendencies, as well as an ex-felon. So finding work and housing is a no go. He just can not present himself well. What should I do?
Many felons have started their own businesses. He needs to find something he likes to do and do it. Mowing lawns, cleaning pools, auto detailing all good-paying jobs that work as self-employment. I don't know if classes that teach these boys how to dress and act, that is usually the job of a father/mentor.
